Jethro Tull has just announced that he is to perform main stage at The Royal Theatre on March 20 2011. Early in 1968, a group of young British musicians, born from the ashes of various failed regional bands gathered together in hunger, destitution and modest optimism in Luton, north of London. With a common love of blues and an appreciation, among them, of various other music forms, they started to win over a small but enthusiastic audience in the various pubs and clubs of southern England. The breakthrough came when they were offered the Thursday night residency at London’s famous Marquee Club in Wardour Street, Soho.

There are still a handful of tickets remaining for tonight’s Coronas’ show in the Royal Theatre and this is a show that you don’t want to miss. Two very successful albums, Heroes and Ghosts and Tony was an Ex-Con, including their recently released single ‘Someone Else’s Hands’, have ensured this Irish band is receiving wide ranging support and affection from fans. Their first album was described by Hot Press as “a soulful line between Jeff Buckley and the Libertines”. The Coronas, featuring Danny O Reilly, Graham Knox, Conor Egan, and Dave Mc Phillips, have achieved platinum sales in Ireland with Heroes or Ghosts, and spawned massive singles such as ‘Grace, Don't Wait!’, ‘Heroes or Ghosts’, and especially ‘San Diego Song’ which became an anthem in pubs and radio stations all across the country.
